Business Development Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

Business Growth & Strategy:

  • Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve company goals.
  • Identify new markets, trends, and business opportunities.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to stay ahead in the industry.
  • Build strategic partnerships to enhance business expansion.

Lead Generation & Client Acquisition:

  • Generate and qualify leads through various channels, including networking, referrals, and digital marketing.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients.
  • Oversee the proposal development process, ensuring timely and high-quality submissions.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals that align with company objectives.

Team Leadership & Coordination:

  • Supervise and mentor the business development team to ensure productivity and performance.
  • Set clear objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the team.
  • Organize regular training sessions to enhance the team’s sales and negotiation skills.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product development teams to align business goals.

Market Research & Analysis:

  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs and industry trends.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for product or service development based on market demands.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of business strategies and make necessary adjustments.

Reporting & Performance Management:

  • Prepare regular reports on business development activities, performance metrics, and sales forecasts.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management.


Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
  • Proven experience in team leadership and strategic planning.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office, and other business development tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of market trends and business growth strategies.
